3.2 Nesne zamirleri: me, him, them

I→me, you→you, he→him, she→her, it→it, we→us, they→them. Fiilden sonra ve edattan sonra nesne biçimi geliyor.

Kısayol: edattan sonra her zaman nesne biçimi. to, for, with, about, from — hepsinden sonra me/him/her/us/them geliyor. İstisnası yok.

• She called I yesterday.

  She called me yesterday.

• Give it to he.

  Give it to him.

• Come with we.

  Come with us.

İki nesne varsa sıra

Kişi önce, şey sonra. Ters sıralanacaksa araya to ya da for giriyor.

• She gave me the book.

  kişi → şey

• She gave the book to me.

  şey → to + kişi

• She gave the book me.

  She gave me the book.

• Can you buy me a coffee? / Can you buy a coffee for me?

me and my friend tuzağı

Özne konumunda I, nesne konumunda me. Kontrol yöntemi basit: kişiyi çıkar, cümle tek başına doğru mu?

Kibarlık kuralı: kendini sona koy. "My friend and I", "you and me" — "I and my friend" dilbilgisi olarak doğru ama kaba duyuluyor.

• Me and my friend went there.

  My friend and I went there.

• She invited my friend and me.

  Nesne konumu — me doğru.

• "...invited me" doğru, "...invited I" yanlış → me kalıyor.

  Kontrol yöntemi.

it ve them nesneyi tekrarlamıyor

Türkçede nesne hem adıyla hem ekle geçebiliyor. İngilizcede nesneyi hem isimle hem zamirle söylemek yanlış.

• I read the book it yesterday.

  I read the book yesterday.

• The film, I watched it last night.

  I watched the film last night.

  İkincisi konuşmada duyuluyor ama yazıda tercih edilmiyor.
